can anyone explain why this happens? i have a decal that is set to plastic, nit use underlying material, and i can see the texture through the decal. Am i missing something here???? thanks!
anyone???? could it be a bug???
In most real life cases a Decal would be a label or printed-on-surface and would therefor have a thickness, so couldn't the decal be applied to a very thin body or surface to simulate that?
Or at the very least, could the surface be split to match the decal size, any appearance removed from the split face, and then apply the decal?
This is intended behavior for decals in PV360.
that is a horrible feature... defeats the purpose of a DECAL. Its not a decal if the material below it bleeds through. Guess i'll have to extrude a very thin feature off the surface, and do it the old fashioned way.. Thanks for the feedback
