I need to create a custom tab in solidworks (Please refer to the attaced image).

I found an example in Solidworks API and it creates a new tab add the calander control. But it's not very clear. I want to add .NET control to this tab but i dont know how to convert them to an active x control. I also have some 3rd party .NET controls provided by devexpress infragistics etc. But how to convert them to active x and add them to this tab. If somebody can provide me with an example that would be great. Please help.

I am using VB.NET not C++. I have no clue about C++. I am new to programming.
