Hi,
I want a graphics card which gives me better rendering & faster results. most of my work depends upon rendering. As i have seen some times graphics card supported by a version does not support newer version. right now i am using 2009 solidworks. can some one tell which is the best graphics card for 2009 & above version of solidworks.
i have found lots of graphics card details in solidworks site but confused what to choose.....
please suggest...
right now i am working on core 2 duo cpu 2 gb ram. quadro fx 3400....
can it is ok for handling 2000 parts containing assemblies or i require more higher configuration..
Please suggest.
Other than interactive RealView graphics, rendering speed is CPU bound and not related to the graphics card. Having a newest generation certified card is important, but the model isn't. A few high-end rendering programs are starting to take advantage of GPUs in a HPC environment, but this doesn't apply to PhotoWorks or PhotoView 360.
Get the fastest quad core Nehalem processor you can afford (Core i7 or Xeon w3500). If you have large budget, get a system with two quad core Xeon w5500 CPUs.
