What happened to the latest 2009 Edrawings download? I can't use 2010 here because the user interaction is WAY slower and this company is full of whiners.
Does anyone know why we can't download it?
If you change the drop box to 2009, you will see that there is no 2009 eDrawings available; even when logged in (logged in as VAR for myself).
You can still get it through the Installation Manager OR through the manual download portion of the website.
Solidworks appears to have removed it from the downloads portion of the website; it can however still be downloaded via the Installation Manager.
There are tabs for downloading various bits of SolidWorks software in the download section. Try the Free CAD Tools tab with 2010 selected in the Select Version dropdown.
I suspect with SW2010 out, SW is no longer offering a 2009 version of eDrawings.
You got that one right.
Peter, you need to login in to get the E-drawing 2009. If you need E-drawing 2010, its there in Free cad tools but only 32 bit.
Thanks everyone, I was finally able to get it through the "downloading each component" like Chris' picture shows.
On a side note, does anyone else have the same results when directly comparing Edrawings 2009 SP04 to 2010 with a complex assembly and with a "non-workstation" PC? Most of my co-workers are using a Dell Vostro 400 with a Raedon 2600XT card.
When rotating the model, components disappear, its slower and just generally worse.
Have you checked to see if what the setting of Performance is in eDrawings (if any). It can either be set to 'Fastest Speed' or 'Best Apperance, Including Reflections'. Personally on a Vostro, if the option is avaiable (it may be grayed out all together) I would set it to Best Apperance.
You can test to see if it is a graphics card issue by disabling Hardware acceleration. You can do this, depending on the OS from a right click menu on the desktop. Right click > Properties > Settings > Advanced > Troublshoot > Set to None on slider.
