I am using motor to spin my shaft with bearings on it but animation is not smooth. It's kind of jerky.
I am using 2009 professional. I have set 4 frames per second in motion properties..
can anybody help me ?
Once I have the smooth animation I want to make a video file.
Thanks. I tried 24 & also 30 FPS. it is still not smooth. I have set my motor speed to 1200 rpm. does that make any difference?
If I want to add an exploded view to this animation, how do I stop the shaft from rotating while exploding.
I want to show the exploding , collapsing & then rotating the shaft. Is there is easy tip to do this kind?
At 1200 rpm, the motor shaft spins 20 times per second. (If your fps was set to 20, you may not see it move at all, like using a strobe light). You may need to start at 60 fps or more to realistically capture the movement. is it just the motor that is jerky? without seeing a screen shot of what the motor is driving, it is hard to tell how much realism you need.
As for your other question, I did see in a demo of 2010, that event based motion can be used to turn motions on and off. I have not played with it and I do not know how it compares to the functionality of 2009.
It is running smooth on video file but still jerky on SW.
The SW playback won't be in real time and will most likely appear jerky.
Sure chris. I'll be happy to do that.
Thanks. I'll try setting to that. When I have it fully uncompressed, my assembly looks good but motion is still jerky
as I see on SW. If I don't make it uncompressed, motion is smooth in video but the assembly looks blurry.
I tried different settings. Is there anything else I need to take care of?
