Out of interest what have you rendered them in, PhotoView 360? And what about the material properties any good tips on getting results for things like wood and glass or making plain steel look a bit more attractive?
This was not rendered. Simply a screenshot with realview turned on. This is a pilot's control side-stick for a commercial airplane project that went bust.
I often wonder what some of the contributors here create. What would be better is if all users could have a link to their forum profile to display a small gallery of sample works. Often this helps illustrate a point that someone is trying to make also. Of course you can attach individual samples within your post but a broader presentation of previous work would often illustrate this better I think.
here is a simple little cabinet we did for a large hardware store chain. we also do alot of checkout lanes with conveyors, but we havnt done any in solidworks yet.
We do primarily medical implants (screws, plates, ect...) but I can't show any of our customer parts. So here are two swords whos blades we made, as well as a few of my personal projects.
heres a couple more from me
mine are rendered in pv360. polished steel always looks good, but i struggle getting satin stainless steel or brushed stainlss steel looking realistic.
glass was just clear glass, and the wood unfinished 2d oak.
There is also this website dedicated to these things: http://www.solidworksgallery.com
