I am getting ready to take the CSWA exam, and I am using SW 2009-10 version. I was working with the mass properties sections It has a new look, but thats not the problem. When I pick the kind of materal I need if show the Density as being the right value, but when I hit and run the recalculate button the results show trhe mass but will not show the Density value Can I trust the answer? I need to know I will be giving the CSWA exam to all of my students. I hope that their is a easy fix.

Tony,

Set the material to Aluminum, the Mass Properties units to MMGS and 2 decimal places, and the Density will be reported as 0.00g/mm^3 ... which is correct ... for 2 decimal places.

Density of Aluminum is 0.0027g/mm^3

Thanks I have been stumped for two days I got it now. Thanks for your help.

I have been working with SW for 5 years and it is hard staying up on all news versions. I teach machine tool and use this SW in my CNC machining.
