Hi,

I am having persistent problem with WPDM at the moment. It's a new install and my clients are having real trouble connecting to the server. I've been through the forums and the bug list but I can't solve the issue.

Connectivity between server and client will work 1 time and thereafter fails to work, I get the 'vault error 40' and the 'error connecting to vault, please check the vault computer name is correct......'

This is really becoming a headache as I think I've made all the checks I can make to resolve the issue.

Any thoughts?

Are your clients connecting using a computer name or an IP address? If using a computer host name change the connection to be the static IP of the server. If the server does not have a static IP, then change it to be set to one. Run with this new setup and see if the issue resolves. You could be having name resolution issues on your network, especially if the IP of the host machine is not static.
