How exactly do I stop two parts from hittng each other when i animate an assembly. I am trying to stop a rotating arm from hitting the body. It works sort of like a farris wheel. It is a perpetual motion machine.
Good luck on getting any help on a perpetual motion machine from a bunch of engineers who have all taken Thermodynamics. We know it's a waste of time.
Your assembly is missing the part called "body", which I assume is the center of the Ferris Wheel. You should do a "pack and go" on your assembly and then zip up the contents of the folder you moved it to. Actually, I think "pack and go" will zip it as well.
I've never played with Animation, so I can't really answer your question. When you move components about with the "Move Component" tool you should turn on "Collision Detection" and "Stop at Collision".
