When creating a note you can simply click on a dimension and that variable gets added to the note.  Change the parent feature and the value in the note changes.

I want to do this same thing in dimension text - adding a second dimensional value to the text associated with another dimension so if the secondary value changes, the associated additional note in the dimension text also changes - like the hole callouts from the hole wizard.  Can't find any way to add this second variable to the dimension text.  What's the trick?
