I think what I am hearing is that your parts are actually modelled as a mirror of what you want. If so, you might try changing the first extrude to the opposite direction. Maybe go into the sketch or sketches and mirror the entities.

I do appreciate the responses. I m very anal and when I selected the “Right Plane” when building the parts, this followed in to the assembly with the first part I used in the assembly. In the drawing when I select the “Right – Elevation View” as my first view, this projects the view above the first view to be the Bottom view of the assembly instead of the top. I have this issue on 12 Assemblies and a total of 70 parts. This is something that is just gnawing at me constantly and I would like to correct without duplicating a lot of work. I was hoping for a just click and ……… and ta-da the right is right and Front is the front. Now it is right is the left and the front is the back. Very- very poor planning on my part. A mistake I will never make again.
I came across the same problem with my assembly in SW2014, where my project was on the different plane then what I wanted, so what I did is: un fixed all the components in the assembly (then) mated the Top plane of the first(your first) component in the assembly with the ASSEMBLY's top plane/coincident/parallel mate
will do. Hopefully this will help.
James,
You can reorder the views as they appear in the drawing by opening the part or assembly.
Orient the part or assy. as you want it to show on the drawing
Hit the shift bar and select Update Standard Views.
Select the view you want to call what is showing on graphic display.
Is this what you mean?
