The Delete Face property manager is distinctly fuzzy in appearance compared to any other property manager dialogue. While not a show stopper it is annoying and I can’t fathom why it should be this particular manager that gets rendered like this.
Has anyone else seen this?
Hi Mark,
There are a few PropertyManagers starting with SolidWorks 2009 where we are using a new Microsoft architecture called WPF to define the PropertyManager UI. While there are other benefits in using this architecture, this is one of the downsides is that WPF does not allow us to turn off anti-aliasing and this is what causes the "blurriness" you refer to. Other example PropertyManagers using this architecture are Convert Entites, Convert to Sheet Metal, and SpeedPak.
So, there is nothing wrong with your installation or machine and unfortunately, nothing you can do to turn off the anti-aliasing of the fonts in these PropertyManagers.
I hope this helps explain it,
Jim
