Anyone get a resolution on this? I just had this happen to one of my coworkers running 2011 SP3.0. Windows 7, 64bit.
We've also noticed that the Solidworks Workgroup PDM toolbar won't display.
The functionality is still there: he can right-click on his vault-view and do 'check in active document'
We've tried restarting Solidworks, restarting Windows, deleting the HKEY_CurrentUser\Software\Solidworks node from the registry and letting Solidworks rebuild it and no success.
We're currently in the process of performing a system restore and then next step will be uninstall/re-install.
Any help here would be hot.

We got our guy working again by running a System restore and going back to a point before the problem occured.
I think that coupled with the fact that reseting the user's Solidworks settings, reinstalling the software and logging in as a different user makes is an application registry problem.
I still don't know what triggered it. I'll continue to keep an eye out for it.
Do you have the PDMW Add-in turned on?
Tools -> Add-in -> Check PDMW in both columns
