Activate a column in BOM, push equatation, select column, add "*" (multiplier), another column and save BOM as template.
New BOM editing interface is somehow "not so clear"
Note if you have set quantity column name differently, that might cause trouble. This setting can be different in each workstation and should be checked if BOM not working. See attachment BOM3.jpg.
mmmm. not really!
I need total weight of each type of component..
Ex. 2 screws each 2lb-----> total weight column right next to it should show 4lb
6 nuts each .5lb---------> total weight column right next to it should show 3lb
should be a very simpl etrick, but just cant figure it out
MMM. ITS REALLY FUNNY,
I HAVE SW09 AND HAVE TRIED IT SO MANY DIFFERENT WAYS, STILL NOT WORKING.... I WONDER IF IM ENTERING THE EQUATION WRONG!
Thank you sir!!
So the trick was to choose the column from the drop downs!!! I typed the names in the formula section, or tried to select the columns like i'd do in excel!!
Anyways, problem solved!
