How do you define Elastic modulus of wood in Cosmos

    Roman Snell
I have a project that contains wood amoung other materials. When running cosmos its asks me to define the elastic modulus.I know the elastic modulus of the wood but I don't know how to define it in cosmos. How is this done?

If you right click on one of the bodies in the FEA study you get a window allows you to edit the material properties. You could also do this in the model window.  Be careful. It is very buggy. Check after you have edited the material data base that the correct value is adopted for all the affected bodies. Let us know how you get on. The material properties of wood are different in different directions so you may need to account for this in specifying the material properties. Simulation allows you do specify different properties for different directions.
