Viewing a large file list on checkout

This may be unique to very large assemblies but it looks like if your file list exceeds 65K items, Excel won't be able to display all the rows.  For example, I just checked out one of my very top level assemblies and there were over 88K warnings - most of them can be ignored, but I usually like to sort the list by warning message so I see that none of them are real problems.  Has anyone else run into and is there a workaround to see the whole file list?  You can save the file list to a .txt file but where can I go from there?
