Downloading Service Packs for 2009

I used to be able to go to the website (http://www.solidworks.com/sw/support/downloads.htm) and simply download service packs. 2007 service packs seem to no longer be available. For 2009, they never showed up there, as far as I know. I can only download them using the solidworks installation manager's "check for updates".

That worked fine for SP4.0; I was able to download the files and install them myself, which is what I want to do since there are more than one of us using it here.

For SP4.1, it first warns me that I will need the original media to install Solidworks SP4.1, but when it comes down to downloading, it says I have to go back and deselect it because I don't have a subscription.

1. So is it now impossible to download service packs without paying for a subscription? And by susbcription I mean something other than having paid for the license in the first place.

2. Is it impossible to get service packs for x64 from an 32-bit installation?
