Can I see two sketches at once while editing one of them?

In SW 09, I really need to reference one sketch (on the Right plane) in order to correctly complete a different sketch (on the Top plane). Is this possible, ie, have other sketches visible when they aren't the ones being edited?

Yes, make sure you sketches are set to show. Not even you can use them but also can pick entities from them for adding any relations/dimensions.

You will also need to have View -> Sketches slected

You can only see the sketches that are above the one your working on in the tree.
You will also need to have View -> Sketches slected
