Hole series over defining sketches

Hi all,

This is my first time posting here so hope i've put this in the right place. Couldn't quite find some where more specific.

I've been using hole series in assemblies quite often lately and have been having a nagging problem with over defined sketches in the propogated parts.

basically what i do is place some sketch points on a part in an assembly that i want to start the hole series on. I define the sketch fully and when hitting ok, i get over defined, derived sketches in the parts the hole series has propogated to. I then need to go into the derived sketch and delete all relations then make only two relations to fully define the sketch.

Why does hole series do this? I don't know what i'm doing wrong. Any suggestions?
