Do i have to upgrade Windows2000 to WinXP Pro?

It's also been in the release notes for Solidworks 2006 for several service packs.

Hello!
I got the new Sw2007 version this week, and i cannot install it cos im using windows2000. I dont know why they took the compatibility with it, since until the SW2006 it was working great.
The thing is that do i have to buy a Winxp Pro license in order to make sw2007 work??.

Yes, you will have to buy Windows XP Pro to install your SolidWorks 2007.

This is outlined in the Release Notes for SW07 on the SolidWorks website.
