My user name is not what I want, how do I get it changed?

  I don't want to change my first or second name I want to change my User name.
  My user name used to be my email address - Definately not what I wanted!
  In my profile my user name is now 33777 and I can't change it but my user name appears in posts as Derek Westwood

try going under your stuff to edit your profile and set your name to show
that's what got rid of the numbers for me
