i just tried this on my vista 64bit machine running solidworks 2009 sp4.0 and it also swifted my image to the left for a moment and then it recentered it. when i opened the PDF after it was created everything was just like it was meant to be.
are you PDF's not being created right?
Yes, it's a nuisance, but the PDF saved is OK.
A little extra work to position the drawings before saving.
I've noticed the same issue. In a drawing file with multiple sheets when you export to PDF the display of all the sheets get shifted over the the left. The sheet you have open will always zoom to fit once the export is done but the others stay repositioned. There is no problem with the PDF file.
I just cycle through the sheets hitting ( F - zoom to fit ) once the export is done. Irritating, but not the end of the world.
Are the shifted views causing you a problem other than being a nuisance?
Seems like this is a nuisance since 2008 for everyone ?
And can Solidworks solve this problem for the next release ?
Yes, before that, no such problem, probalby some bugs inherited ?
Thanks for the feedback, but no solution yet.
I think what is happenng is the drawing sheet is centreing itself on the full graphics screen ... not just the visible screen.
If you close the FM, the sheets do not do the leftward shift.
ok.. I will try :
1st : without the file manager.
2nd : with max. window of solidworks.
