Hi,

Does anyone have their SolidNetwork License Server running on a VMWare ESX host using a USBAnywhere concentrator for the USB dongle? We're retiring our old server that has a parallel dongle and if possible would like to virtualize this license server if possible.

We set up our VMWare host (Server 2003 R2 64-bit) with our new USB dongle and were not able to get the SolidNetwork License Manager to recognize that the license server was properly running on the new virtualized server.

In the event logs, we get the following errors:

\SystemRoot\SysWow64\Drivers\SENTINEL.SYS has been blocked from loading due to incompatibility with this system. Please contact your software vendor for a compatible version of the driver.

The Sentinel service failed to start due to the following error:
This driver has been blocked from loading.

Is this just a 64-bit OS problem or is running the license server in a VM just not going to work?
