Trouble controlling connection points in Surface Loft

Hi, I am relatively new to SolidWorks (usually use Pro/E), but I am trying to create a surface loft and am having trouble maintaining the control points as I modify the model. I'm not sure if I am doing something wrong, or missing an option, but I was hoping someone could point me in the correct direction.

I am creating a surface loft using 4 straight profile curves and one guide curve. The loft surface is created just fine, but when I modify other geometry in the model, some of the control points on the profile curves switch to the opposite end, and the loft fails during rebuild.

I have attached a simple model to show the issue. If you modify the "Geometry" sketch, and change the angle from 80 to 110 deg, the loft fails to rebuild. I am using Solidworks 2007, but also saw the same issue in 2008. Any help would be great!!

Thanks!
