I am trying to place a dimple pattern in the compound contour. It is for a pattern that is going to be made so it can not be a texture. I have tried a curve driven pattern, then used the indent tool but the indent tool does not allow a specific section of the spheres to be indented. Im not sure what to do next. I need to take a 1.5" sphere and indent the sphere into the surface 1/4". This pattern will be duplicated until 3650 dimples are created. Has anyone ever tried to create a dimple pattern on a compound contour? If so do you have any suggestions?
