I have a client machine that, when saving an assembly, will
sometimes ask the user if he would like to save parts that are
checked in. I have "Don't prompt to save read-only referenced
documents" turned on.
The files are defiantly read-only, because if he does try to save them, the save is forbidden.
Anyone ever seen this before?

It's not a toggle. It's a setting in SolidWorks Options.

Ok...we've got that set...I was assuming it was a pdm option that just backed up the SW option that doesn't seem to work. We see this all of the time...and have learned to just live with it.
In my installation some users see this, others do not. I can't tell if it is something the user is doing or it is something else. Any theories?
If you think it is a SW issue, maybe I'll use the old copy setting wizard to copy all setting from a good installation to a bad one.
