SW2009 Model Freeze on 2nd Monitor

We have 6 Dell Precision 690 computers, dual core 2.0 GHz, running XP 32bit, 4GB ram [only 3GB recognized on 32bit OS ], with NVIDIA Quadro FX 3500 video on driver (SW recommended) with dual Dell LCD monitors. We never had a problem running SW on either monitor until we upgraded to SW2009 (currently running SP3.0). Now if you move the SW window onto the second monitor the model view freezes. You can operate SW just fine and it does not crash, you just don't get an updated model view. If you move the window back to the main monitor then any changes you made will show up. Even if you spread the SW window over the two monitors the main monitor model view updates but the second monitor view does not. I have tried a few different video drivers to no avail. We upgraded to SW2009 off of 2008 without an uninstall and I am wondering if a clean install would help. Any suggestions?
