I do a regular job for a customer where I have set up a standard assembly model and this can be configured to generate bespoke parts on a job by job basis - fairly standard stuff.

On of the aspects of this is a curved component that I have set up with a circular pattern around an axis. Think of it is bolts going into holes on a curved roof, and the bolts are on a pattern - that is the closest analogy I can think of.

Thing is, the "bolts" always need to start from the centre of the curved part, so my circular pattern has to be done twice - one one way, and one in the opposite direction.

So the enhancement is simple - allow circular patterns around an axis to go in two directions......would this save anyone else a lot of time?

I can kind of understand how it migth be hard to implement as it is, but if we were to select a direction for the first pattern on the axes, and then select clockwise or anti clockwise this would work I think.
