Windows 7

As mentioned in another post, I'm in the process of unpgrading to a new workstation. I've been following this forum pretty close while trying to educate myself on what to purchase.

One issue I'm having is the OS. It's pretty much a given that I want a 64-bit system but my IT department wants nothing to do with Vista. However they are open to the idea of loading Win7RC with the idea of using my workstation as a "testbed" for the new OS.

For those of you who have loaded Win7: If I consider this option, is there anything I should be aware of? SolidWorks install/performance/support, video/printer driver issues, Office 2007 compatability issues, stability, known bugs, etc? Basically, does it look like Microsoft has done their homework this time or does this look to be another Vista circus?

Worst case would be to order Vista64 and upgrade when Win7 is officially released but it would be nice to skip this step.
