is it possible to link a guage table and solidworks material to use in custom properties?

Guage table are material specific. Can you elaborate more as what you trying to achieve by linking a guage table and SolidWorks material

  In cutom properties it's possible to declare the solidworks material so that when, for example, I wish to include the material within the drawing border it get's this information via "SW-Material@62570-001.SLDPRT" but I would like to do this directly through guage tables if possible.
