Hello,

I am struggling with setting up SolidWorks. Which is frustrating, because I have over 25 years experience in CAD. But, it is all AutoDesk.

First, is the screen colors. I am wanting all Black when I am modeling. Every time I try to set this, I cant see the part or something else. Has somebody got this set up? Is there a way to just install some config file? Yes, I have tried changing the colors of each item, but for some reason I still cant get it right.

Also, I want to customize my mouse stuff. I find the default setup has way to many extra clicks to do things. For example, I want to hold down the scroll wheel to pan around. I dont want to go in to 2 menus to make this happen. Clicking the scroll wheel would go to a zoom window. And double click the scroll would zoom all. Holding down the right mouse would automatically take me to the rotate preferably.

And lastly, Is it possible to use the keyboard for commands? For example, I used to be able to hit "c" and then the spacebar (for enter) to draw a circle.

I know a lot of this is personal preference, but I find these methods much faster.
