Hi,

Have anyone tried simulating a vacuum cleaner? my setup was I did an outlet velocity round split line and then in the middle I used a porous media, I used the Based on pore size formulation type, and in the nozzle of vacuum I used an Environmental pressure as an opening where air can get in and ne sucked, and my model was a simple model because I want to test first in a simplier model so that I can understand better what going on, I tried alot of pore size and porosity percentage combination for the HEPA filter, results was I was able to capture particles in porous using particle study, BUT my problem is why I dont get an air velocity that is fast enough to suck dust in the nozzle just like in a real vacuum the air velocity in the nozzle if fast, but in my analysis air velocity in the nozzle( environmental pressure opening) is very low like i dont even get 1m/s speed, like I can get only like 0.003m/s spees something like that, so how can that very lpw speed suck anyway dust? thanks to anyone who can help me.
