Hi,
So I've been working on learning to make toothed belts and pulleys inside solidworks over the last few days, I'm not even that interested in getting them to move because I'm working on a pretty weak laptop. I'm just having a lot of difficulty getting the teeth to allign.
So the pulley teeth pitch is 2mm. and they seem to be right because I checked. I did some math and this is where I'd bet on the issue being but I'm not sure. The math I did was to figure out and distanced the pulleys to make the total belt length 202mm but it actually came out as 202.03mm in Solidworks I thought that was pretty close so, maybe thats the issue but I don't think so because its so close. Perhaps that's a false assumption, maybe they have to be perfect... I'm not really sure though, I would really appreciate some help. I attached the Assembly. Please take a look
My logic is if the belt is 202mm and the tooth pitch is 2mm, then there should be 101 teeth. I'm probaby neglecting something because Solidworks is a great software and 99% of the time if something is wrong it is my fault.
