I am looking for the general sessions for 3DEXPERIENCE WORLD 2021. Anyone figure out how to access the content? I didn't sign-up for the event but I would like to view some of the sessions. Thanks in advance!
I searched YouTube and they came up. I searched 3dexperience world 2021.
That was easy enough.. when I looked it was returning the preliminary videos from December.
It was interesting to watch all 3 general sessions. I saw only about 1 minutes worth of SolidWorks Desktop and that was pushing a 3D model (didn't say you could work on it in desktop so I assume it is a representation of a model) from 3DX into a desktop assembly. That's it.

What did you expect? They renamed it 3DXW, it's no longer SWW...
I can understand rebranding and cross-selling of products- in this case a platform. That I am fine with. I understand what DS is trying to do. Siemens did a similar thing when they moved NX User Conference to PLM World..but technically, PLM World was a separate company..I understand you can't focus only CAx only anymore because we really live in a PLM world- even if we don't want to admit it.
BUT...there was sooo little SW desktop content in the 3 general sessions (and those are the sessions our VPs and Dir review or get "reports" on) that I'm getting questions about the future of desktop and "where's our maintenance budget going?" I also get questions like..."That looks like a lot of PLM tools wrapped around the CAx tools. We already have x-million dollars invested in PLM. So how is that going to work for us?"
Kind of eager to see what kind of response you will get. IMO they'll just walk around the issue rather then adress it.
You can go to: 3DEXPERIENCE WORLD 2021 but you first must register (I believe it's free). Once you are registered come back to the 3DEXPERIENCE World 2021 - Dassault Systèmes® page and enter register again (I know stupid!) and then sign in. Once you've have a cookie for the site, you should be able to just go to 3DEXPERIENCE WORLD 2021 page and there is a button "View Sessions".
Hope that helps
Took me a little while. I went to 3DX World web site and selected "My Agenda". From there the different sessions were listed and if yo select one you are able to open it and towards the bottom of the information is a link to watch on demand.
Tahnks. You are correct..but if you didn't setup an account there is even more hoops to jump through. I did find the general sessions on YouTube.
