Do we have any special config to make wires route beyond the surface of components, then down to duct?
Not route from the connection point, then go down inside components directly.
Andy, I see this helped by 2 options: Selecting "add tangency" when routing may help. I also will select a small (or several) EW_PATH route sketches WITHIN the solidworks part to guide the wires in the preferred breakout direction. Hope that helps. In some cases I accept slightly off visual results knowing the LENGTH still came out at a useful value.
Thanks, Evan. Manual creating EW_PATH will works. But still some wires can not route as I want.
I think it's the "distance between cables/wires on routes" option preventing me route normally. The minimum of this option is 0.01mm.
Sometimes we want not only the LENGTH of wires but also a demonstration use. So we want the wires go correctly.
Anyway, now it looks better, thank you!
Still, looking forward a better solution for the wires routing direction.
Cause wires doesn't make sense as go up then straight go back.
