I just upgraded to SW2021 - the dimension text size is now way smaller than 2020, see attached picture below.
How do I change this back?
I figured it out now, if it has nothing to do with templates then that means its just graphics. Go to Tools > Options > System Options > Performance > Enhanced graphics performance. This options turns on the new graphics rendering engine made in 2018. It is turned on by default so you must have turned it off in 2020 before. This new graphics engine seems to render numbers/annotations different where the old engine seems to bold these. Keep in mind that this graphics engines do each have pros and cons. If you want better performance in large assemblies then I would recommend leaving this option set. But we have noticed a lot of stability issues with the new graphics engine.
You can change the size of your dimensions in the settings. This is document specific keep in mind, so any old documents should use the font you used to have. If you want all new documents to show with your new font you will then want to save this part off as a template.
That doesn't seem to be the case.
I cheked that at first to make sure the settings matched SW2020 - and they already did.
Opening old documents based on an old templates also have the new smaller font...
