Can I copy SOLIDWORKS part data from Vault to desktop folder via PDM Professional Viewer

I try to provide SOLIDWORKS data to manufacturing division via SOLIDWORKS PDM viewer.

They create cam data using SOLIDWORKS data.

I can provide SOLIDWORKS data to manufacturing division via SOLIDWROKS PDM CAD editor.

But I don't know if I can do it using SOLIDWORKS PDM Viewer.

No one else has this question

Hi Kazuki,

If the Shop floor have 'Viewer' Licenses and have Read permission granted to the files in question, then yes, they could open them Read Only into their CAM Package. I'm guessing you are not using SolidWorks CAM (else they would use a CAD Editor anyway).
