Hi all,
I'm trying to figure out how the instance count is populating when the calloutformat.txt has "**NO-NUMBER-OF-INSTANCES" at the start of the file? We are also experiencing problems getting the dowel hole count to show up. I'm working in SolidWorks Premium 2018 SP4.0. I've used the work around from an earlier post and that works. The highlighted callout (see pic) is the result of the work around. The other callout is what I get initially. Here is the actual nomenclature in SW:
Work around: <NUM_INST>X <MOD-DIAM> <hw-diam> <hw-thru>
w/o work around: <MOD-DIAM><DIM> THRU
The calloutformat.txt file has the following for a Plain thru hole:
HOLE-THRU=;<MOD-DIAM> <hw-diam> <hw-thru>
So how do I get different nomenclature in SolidWorks? I assumed since I couldn't find a "Dowel" hole, that it would use the plain thru hole for a dowel. I've checked file location as well as the contents of the file.
