My client gave me a PDF file. From which was able to
replicate the design in SW. However, I need to flatten this pattern
so the fabricator can correctly place mounting holes prior to
forming it.
The material will be 1/4" thick acrylic heat formed. A piece of .04 aluminum will be glued to the surface after forming. The aluminum is the piece we need to flatten.
Any ideas?
thanks in advance

Great tip. It worked well, however, now I can't seem to flatten it. Can you help just a little more and see if you can flatten it? Thickness doesn't matter, I can adjust that stuff once I get the pattern to flatten/unflatten.

Lofted Pattern
offset Front plane by X inches
use Convert Entities to copy squiggly spline to new plane
loft between 2 sketches
flatten
K's answer worked the best. Now, flat and develop length dead on.
Sorry about the delay on updating, had a 'hot' job.
