I wanted to generate some pdf's from a model that I could show a customer. I want to put a label/title on the pdf. Can I do that in a solidworks assembly, and then save it as a pdf? Or generate the pdf and then label it? I'd like to create pdf's of different views and with the assembly in different positions. I could make a drawing, but I liked the look of the model, with colors and shading, etc. Thank you, Chris
You can turn on the Annotations toolbar and place a Note in the graphics area. It will carry over to the pdf (at least it did for me; see attached). Another alternative would be to add text to the pdf, but you'd need the Adobe software (or something similar).
