See this drawing? How do I move the crosshatch to the back? Tried using layers, but that did not work unfortunately, and I could not find a "send to back" option...
Any info appreciated,
Thanks

As far as I know SW do not support "depth/layers" so there is no option to "send to back/front". It is super annoying with notes/dimensions etc when they are close to each other and you can't click and drag one of them because one is in front of the other. So you have to move first in order to move second, or right click select other, and move it with alt, but it doesn't work 100%.
However in your problem there is a way to do what you need however in complex parts it might be a pain to do:
1. open a model:
2. use convert entities to the part. You need them only in the area that will be hatched. In this case bottom teeth and half center hole with slot.
3. make your outside hatch boundary and trim lines. The trimming is important!!! if the inner circle is not trimmed to the horizontal line hatch will not be created.
4. use hatch in desired places:
You can create simple assembly as well with a rectangular block behind your part... this way you can apply hatch to the block without adding lines/arcs to your drawing. You can always hide the bloc in other views if not needed.
The only way that I can get it to work is to add the sketch with the hatching to the sheet format (I made it a block and then cut and pasted it onto the sheet format).
Then exit editing the sheet format and change the display style of your view to shaded with edges.
