Hello everybody, I was conducting a simple test to understand if it would possible definine two virtual walls for faces standing on different heights (50 mm, about 2 inches) with foundation bolts.
I applied a vertical force of 1000 N but one of the virtual walls doesn't seem to work very well:
The blue plane on the left is the correspondent virtual wall to the rose plane on the right.
(Pretty obviously, when I put the two bracket on the same level and the virtual wall plane is the same for all for bolts, everything is fine).
Kindly, can someone know how to explain this behaviour?
Thank you very much.
I don't recall ever having occasion to use multiple virtual wall boundaries. So I gave it try - it works fine for me.

But I generally prefer to use solid bounding bodies in contact instead of any synthetic boundary conditions (though the virtual wall really does work well and offers flexible realism). It's easier for others to see what's happening and less work for me to explain where the part is sitting on solid blocks.
