I want to attach a geometric tolerance symbol to the bottom feature of the part, (shown with red line), without a leader.
I can't get it to attach. any tricks I need to know to do this? I'm new to Solidworks so I'm still learning!

OK, here is a better video (the last one did not show the pop up windows of Solidworks!
you want a line to the part right, but no attachment style?
if you go to the side bar when highlighted, click on leader, and make that nice. then right under that you can choose how the line ends right after it. you can do arrow or slash etc
Both are straight forward fixes ...
Option 1, select the GD&T Frame that has the leader, then within the Command Manager select "No Leader"
Option 2, simply place the GD&T frame and slide it up to the feature in question and the leader will go away when the frame touches the edge
