We want to customize Hole wizard in SW and create our own standard for HW. So, I copied one of the standards and placed it in the same place. So far, it has shown good progress. However, I was not able to change the name of the subfolder. I called them as a subfolder which is a group of detailed holes in each hole type category.
Is there a way to rename these folders: Bottoming Tapped Hole, Tapped hole, Straight Pipe Tapped hole, etc.?
And do you know the files (C drive programs or program data folders) that control all the functions of the Hole Wizard?
Thank you very much.
I believe the toolbox database file swbrowser.sldedb is located at
by default
Not sure how you could open and edit the swbrowser.sldedb though...
If i am not mistaken, ages ago Solidworks was using *.mdb database for the toolbox but had now changed to *.sldedb...
