I am trying to create a dimple pattern on the side of a cylinder. When I create the first dimple by making a spherical cut it visually looks eliptical (naturally this will be the case intersecting a sphere with a cylinder). I've tried projecting the dimple diameter onto the face of the cylinder and then using this to "Dome". It is close but in makes the edges of the Dome feature tangent to the face of the cylinder (I'd like to see an edge). Any ideas on a simple way to do this?
