I am trying to dimension the length of a 3D line using Path Length. It will not work for a 3D line, but if I create only a 2D line it works as expected.

I have tried to use the Make Path command but it is always unavailable.
Usually just straight lines connected by tangent arcs.
Vote for SPR 720743: Ability to create Path Length dimension for 3D sketch. for a chance at seeing it in a future release.
Define "3d line". I'm nearly certain it works on splines but I've never tried it on multiple lines. Do you have to make those lines a path first?
