BOM doesn't break out components by Book, although it is the highest priority break in Sort and Break. BOM indicates that all components are in the same Book. See attachment.
Is there something more to linking Componentswith Books? We'd assume you only have to draw said Component inside of said Book.
The issue is not with the configuration. The issue concerns how Locations are associated with Books. Easily fixed.
Sounds like you got it, just for other's reference is looking at this topic...basically your query has to have a line something to the effect of WHERE CURRENT BUNDLE ID = item's bundle (logically speaking). You can pull apart some other queries like the out of the box BOM layout tab's box checked for "one report by book" which requires something like this to be in place in the WHERE section vew_manufacturerparts_ex.bun_id = %CUR_BUNDLE_ID%
