HI,
I'm a beginner in Solidworks surface modeling. I already created several models using surfaces and I need to improve them to an advanced level.
So, can any of you provide me some drawings or links to practice my own? It will be very helpful...
Thanks a lot.
You can buy Matt Lombard's book, though it's dated, the concepts still apply and you may still be able to get the practice files? https://www.amazon.com/SolidWorks-Surfacing-Complex-Shape-Modeling/dp/0470258233/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=solidworks…
There's also this book, with content that I know is available at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/163057418X?ie=UTF8&tag=sdcpublications&linkCode=as2&camp=211189&creative=374929&creati…
I own books from both groups and even though Matt's book is dated, his book is 460 pages at $33 versus the other book which is only 260 pages for $60. Quality for both is pretty good, but Matt's book is going to be more detailed and more comprehensive while the SDC book is going to be more up to date. If you've got enough money, I'd say get both.
