Is there any data available on performance testing with high speed ram kits out there(DDR4)? Specifically would 4000+Mhz kits on intel platforms see big gains in opening and saving? I ask because I'm messing around with a 2x16gb kit at 2133mhz (15-15-15-36) and 3000mhz (15-15-15-44). I don't have a great testing method but it does feel like its loading information into ram faster and opening large assemblies faster.
Solid works just doesn't seem to slam the cpu like other programs do, I'm wondering if loading data in and out of ram is actually the bottleneck, Or if this software is just that badly optimized to utilize hardware.
