Hi all,
What is the best practice for showing an interconnection of adjacent relays where jumpers are used for commoning?
I think it is essential to show the equipotential but when wires are used, Solidworks tends to interpret them as physical wires and this has undesirable consequences (messes up the auto-numbering of wires, etc).
For example, using Wago relay 788-312 with jumper 788-115, or Finder relay 93.01.7.024 with jumper 093.20.
Any brilliant ideas?
For starters you can draw a "wire" connecting those symbols but then right click on the drawn wire and choose "create/delete bridges" to establish that wired link as a jumper instead. By default it will change it's linetype to match the settings in your Project>Configuration>Graphics tab
